There is nothing more psychedelic than life itself. When we begin to face the mirror of experience, we realize we are already on the most extraordinary journey.
I was raised in a dysfunctional, alcoholic home and spent much of my early life lost in depression, insecurity, and existential confusion. By the grace of God, I discovered plant medicines in my early twenties and they reconnected me to my heart and purpose — to serve others who were suffering.
For years, I traveled to the Amazon, working closely with indigenous shamans in sacred plant ceremonies and eventually began guiding psychedelic journeys to help others heal from trauma. But at a certain point, I heard a clear message: the plants had already taught me the important lessons. Continuing to rely on them for my healing to the degree I had was greedy, even lazy.
When I stopped working with plant medicines, the pain and confusion from my youth resurfaced. I knew I had to find a new way to move through it — to integrate rather than escape. This search led me to breathwork.
In my very first breath journey, I was taken into the familiar expansive spaces that plant medicines open — a profound sense of oneness, peace, and connection with the infinite. During that experience, I had a vision of creating layered, transportive soundscapes —sonic medicine— to guide others into these deep inner realms.
I design transformational journeys because it is a true calling. They are are tools for healing, transformation, and remembrance — offering a pathway for people to move energy, awaken the heart, ignite creativity and purpose, and connect with the divine without any external substances.
The Mirror is what I have come to call this ever-evolving practice. In our workshops we explore our life as a journey. Experience is packaged in a unique way for each of us and delivered only when we least expect it—but its inescapability bonds us together when we share what is real. By tapping into ancient wellsprings of imagination, the breath brings forth meaningful symbols and visions that allow us to "connect the dots" and make meaning of experience.
When I can help others heal their suffering, it allows me to experience my painful childhood as a gift. I do this work because I feel the world needs it - I have seen the effects time and time again - how it activates purpose and inspires creativity. And I have experienced the undeniable ripple effect — when I share my gifts, they reignite a flame in others and inspire them to both remember and share their own gifts, which makes the world a more beautiful place. I believe the work of an artist is to reflect back God’s beauty in whatever way feels purest and truest. I do this work because there is nothing I love more – because I am endlessly fascinated with exploring the alchemy of experience and examining the beauty that is always emerging through the natural cycles of expansion, contraction, death, and rebirth. I do this work because it invites people home — out of our heads, into our hearts – into deeper connection with ourselves, with one another, and with a power greater than ourselves.
My husband, Jay, and I have shared the dream of opening a space to curate experiences of heart opening, inspiration, and nature connection. When we lost our home in the Palisades fire, synchronicity led us to incredibly powerful land in the high desert to make this dream a reality.
